N.O.W. stands for Negotiable Order Of Withdrawal. It is a checking account that pays interest. Unlike Money Market Checking Accounts, you may write an unlimited number of checks. We offer a NOW Checking Account and a Super NOW Checking Account. They are the same type of account, except the Super NOW has a higher required minimum opening deposit, and generally pays a higher rate.

A Money Market Checking Account is a type of checking account that pays interest. It usually pays a higher rate than our NOW accounts, but you are limited to up to three checks of $500 or more and three pre-authorized internal transfers of $100 or more per cycle period. If you normally write very few checks each month, this may be a good option for you.
